Suon Seng is an Agro-economist and founder and director of the Multi-Angles Centre (Cambodian Social Research Firm). Since 1996, he has been a researcher and M&E officer with GRET. After 2 years, he began working with CEDAC for 9 years, followed by 10 years with CENTDOR.
He has done much applied research and consulting projects for local development NGOs, International NGOs, and UN Agencies in Cambodia. He has served as Project Leader of Rurb-Asie Project of CEDAC (Local Partner in Cambodia) which is funded by European Commission. He is Country Coordinator of DEMETER Project which funded by Swiss National Science Foundation (February 2016 – February 2022). His research interests and research competencies include rural livelihoods, farming systems, land tenure systems, local governance, agricultural value chain, and vulnerability and adaptation. He has expertise in participatory methods in research and development.
