Project: Next generation agricultural extension: social relations for practice change

About: Dr Kirt Hainzer is an agroecologist who works predominately in agricultural extension, focussing on participatory techniques. His research explores culturally responsive capacity building for value chain development. He is particularly interested in working with farming communities to design extension content which targets those vital soft skills that rural families need to progress their livelihoods. He has worked for development agencies and the private sector throughout Australia, Europe, the Pacific, and SE Asia.
